Welcome to VintAxe. Steve Brown and Don Thompson designed this website to help you learn more about some of the lesser known guitars produced from the 1920s to 2007. There are pictures and descriptions of electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitars, amplifiers and other musical gear from our collections. Whether you like American guitars, European guitars or instruments produced in Japan and Asia, we should have something in the collection of interest to you. We also have a growing selection of vintage instrument catalogs to help you identify guitars, or just browse for fun, as well as links to other informative vintage guitar sites and current boutique instrument manufacturers.
